Description
CLEMATIS ‘Will Goodwin’ is a refined early large‑flowered cultivar known for its soft, pale violet‑blue blooms and elegant, slightly crisped sepal edges. Flowers reach up to 15cm across, opening a richer lavender‑blue before fading to a lighter tone as they mature. The creamy‑white and yellow stamens add contrast, giving the plant a luminous, airy quality that works beautifully on trellises, obelisks, pergolas and container displays.
‘Will Goodwin’ flowers on both old and new wood. It produces a generous early flush in late spring to early summer, followed by a lighter repeat later in the season. Its medium size and soft colouring make it ideal for cottage gardens, wildlife‑friendly borders and smaller spaces where gentle colour and vertical interest are needed.
