Description
CLEMATIS ‘Will Goodwin’ is a refined early large-flowered cultivar known for its soft, pale violet-blue blooms and elegant, slightly crisped sepal edges. Flowers reach up to 15cm across, opening a richer lavender-blue before fading to a lighter tone as they mature. The creamy-white and yellow stamens add contrast, giving the plant a luminous, airy quality that works beautifully on trellises, obelisks, pergolas and container displays.
‘Will Goodwin’ flowers on both old and new wood. It produces a generous early flush in late spring to early summer, followed by a lighter repeat later in the season. Its medium size and soft colouring make it ideal for cottage gardens, wildlife-friendly borders and smaller spaces where gentle colour and vertical interest are needed.
